Proyecto Tití has created an innovative way to save trees for tamarins! In Colombia, most fence posts are made from young sapling trees that are cut from the forest. To save trees for tamarins, we have created TITI POSTS, fence posts made from recycled plastic. TITI POSTS are remarkably durable and last longer than any wooden fence post. Our goal to use TITI POSTS throughout all of our forest restoration areas so that we can protect these areas for cotton-tops and native Colombian wildlife forever!
